Casa Herradura's Añejo tequila provides the base for Herradura Ultra. The Añejo is blended with premium Extra Añejo that has been aged for up to 49 months in American White Oak barrels. A hint of agave nectar is added before the liquid is filtered using our unique distillation process creating a rich, crystal-clear tequila with a full-bodied flavor.
Slow cooking the agave in traditional brick and stone ovens and using Herradura's unique wild yeast fermentation process creates subtle notes of cooked agave mixed with hints of caramel, vanilla, wood, honey, dried fruits and toasted almonds. Herradura Ultra is platinum in color, with an easy and pleasant finish that is beyond smoothness.
